Knives start at $165.00.  Blades are colonial style and made with 1080 or 1095, high carbon, blade steel. Most blades are full tang with figured Eastern hardwood handles and brass pins. Some will carry poured pewter or hammered German silver pins. Pewter, bone or antler will add to the cost. We offer half and hidden tang knives also.

Since every knife is a one off, we price them as we make them and the knives are usually sold before they make it to the website gallery.
 
If there is a blade style on the web site that is a favorite, we can price it for you. We won't ever be able to totally duplicate another knife but we can get close. All blades are hand hammered and carry some hammer marks and other evidence of forging when finished.
 
 
The Hawks also start at $165.00. These are hammered from a single piece of 4140 and have an aged hickory handle.
Figured handles add $30.00, pewter caps add $30.00 and carving will add $30.00 or more depending on the complexity of the design.

>The old style hawks, featured on Handcrafted America, are $185.00 with the same additional charges for special orders.
>Spontoons are also available. These are made traditionally like the old style hawks.
>The Hiwassee River hawks are made from .50cal black powder rifle barrels and start at $175.00 with an aged hickory handle.
>Working smoker hawks are available with the Hiwassee River hawk heads and figured hardwood handles. These start at $200 and carry the same additional charges described above.
>We offer a variety of Viking era knives and fighting axes. These are priced per piece due to the variety of styles and sizes.
>All blades are hand hammered and carry some hammer marks and other evidence of forging when finished.
 
We do ship and only charge the exact shipping cost to the customer.'
